Ms. Yoshida practices general intellectual property law with an emphasis on patent prosecution and licensing. She has experience in a broad range of international and domestic licensing and commercial transactions as a licensing, corporate development, and sales and marketing manager, as well as pharmaceutical and medical device domestic registration, pharmaceutical licensing, professional services, and laboratory work.
Ms. Yoshida practices general intellectual property law with an emphasis on patents and licensing. Prior to joining HSML, for two years she served German speaking clients in Tokyo at a German firm, ARQIS Foreign Law Office. Ms. Yoshida has extensive experience in a broad range of international and domestic licensing and commercial transactions in pharmaceuticals and fine chemicals while working in a pharmaceutical company in the Takeda Group in Japan and in a prominent trading company specializing in chemicals and pharmaceuticals, Nagase & Co., Ltd., and Nagase (Europa) GmbH, as a licensing, corporate development, and sales and marketing manager. While in 3M Health Care, Ltd. in Japan, she was responsible for pharmaceutical and medical device domestic registration, pharmaceutical licensing, professional services, and laboratory work. Ms. Yoshida spent two and half years in Germany while working for Nagase (Europa) GmbH. Ms. Yoshida also has experience in tort and product liability litigation as a pro-bono attorney.
