Mr. Wong practices general Intellectual Property Law with an emphasis on patents. Mr. Wong focuses on (1) patent procurement; (2) patent clearance; and (3) patent portfolio management. In procuring patents, Mr. Wong obtains patent protection for clients domestically in the United States and in countries abroad. In clearing patent issues, Mr. Wong gives opinions and investigates issues regarding freedom to operate and patent landscaping, focusing on issues of infringement and validity. In managing patent portfolios, Bryan strategic advises clients on worldwide patent filing plans and patent coverage.
Mr. Wong helps Chinese clients with patent issues in the United States and represents HSML’s largest US clients by strategically managing their worldwide patent portfolios.
Mr. Wong’s experience includes a variety of technologies including the biochemical, chemical, mechanical, and electrical mechanical arts.
